BBC Regions

Until now 29 July 2003 only four regions of BBC One were broadcast, BBC One London (England) - BBC One Wales - BBC One Scotland - BBC One Northern Ireland.

Now regional variations of BBC One are available such as BBC One West from Bristol, all the regions are now FTA.

Adding the other regions allows you to watch a different local news programme.

You add extra channels by pressing the "Services" button on the Sky Remote,

choose option 4 "System Setup"

There are Four things you have to enter

- Frequency   10.788 - Polarisation V - Symbol Rate 22 - FEC 5/6

Once you have entered the parameters select "Find Channels"

After a while a list of BBC channels will appear mark the ones you want using the Yellow button on the Sky Remote Control and press Select.

Repeat for the other transponders

- Frequency 10.818 and 10.847 - Polarisation V - Symbol Rate 22 - FEC 5/6

NOTE - To access these channels press "Services" and choose "Other Channels"

They do not appear along side the Channels in the Electronic Program Guide (along with 101 BBC1, 106 Sky One etc)

You can not add them to the EPG (see Can I add Channels from the "Other Channels" into the EPG)
